Rainbow Art Birthday Party

I LOVED styling my daughter’s Rainbow Art Party - 10th Birthday! I am excited to show you all of the gorgeous images captured by Heather Carpenter Photography, and share some amazing Vendors & DIY Tutorials to help you get this look at an affordable cost. My sweet birthday girl is wearing a Great Stitch shirt! I purchased this clear 36inch balloon at Party Galaxy and then confetti stuffed the balloon. Tutorial HERE. I attached this adorable Paper Circle Garland from Tutu’s & Bowties.

For the cake plate stands I used White Milk Glass stands that I already owned. You can purchase from Amazon HERE. I then added to the top white Paint Palettes purchased in the art section at Hobby Lobby. If the milk glass stands are out of your budget you can spray paint Candle Stick Holders white and then add the Palettes for the same effect at a lower cost! Tutorial For Candlestick Stands HERE!

These delicious RiceKrispy Paint Brushes were made by Sweet You Off Your Feet and the kids LOVED them!

Many stores carry these Mini Food Safe Paint Cans. I purchased these from Michaels and added colorful rainbow gumballs (Paint Drops) from Amazon HERE. The Tent Card Labels come in the Printable Party Package as an editable file so you can add your own items!

Aren’t these Cupcake Stands simply adorable?! The Wooden Palettes were made by the amazing Ten23Designs. Tutorial HERE for making DIY cupcake stands.

These stunning Tulle Pom Pom Cupcake Toppers were made by TiTi’s TuTu’s. I always purchase my cupcakes at Walmart and then add the embellishments. It saves a lot of money! The Cupcake Wrappers come in the Printable Package as well!

Candy Kabobs are the trending candy right now for birthday parties! Kids LOVE them! These adorable Kabobs were made by Sweets From Heaven, Outlets At Orange. This Rainbow Glitter Stand is another incredibly easy and affordable DIY. Tutorial HERE. You will hear about these AMAZING Canvas cookies by Sweet Baketique further down this post:-)

The cake was full of Rainbow Layers on the inside! I wanted the outside to pop against the backdrop so I had my cake lady keep it simple! The bottom was lined with colorful fondant balls, but you can also use gumballs to make it even easier! The Pom Pom Topper was also made by Titi’s Tutu’s.

Cake Pops are a HUGE hit at parties! Easier than cutting a cake, delicious, and adorable! These splatter paint cake pops were made by The New York Cakepopery! She ships and they arrive in excellent condition!

This Bright Fabric Garland was another masterpiece from Tutu’s & Bowties!

Candy Letter Dishes are a fun way to add some pop of color to your table! You can purchase your Letter Dishes on Amazon HERE! You can fill with any smaller candy you can think of! I used the 1inch gumballs. You can also use Jelly Belly’s, M&M’s, Skittles, and more!

I love using paper lanterns to add color to the party room or area! Just be careful you have a way to hang them! This was one of those things that looked great in pictures and for Pinterest;-), but I am going to be honest with you….it was a pain in the bottom to hang! We used fishing line and hung with scotch tape on the ceiling … they kept falling! The ceiling was painted with a high gloss paint and I was out of time to create a better way to hang! Plan ahead! These lanterns were purchased at Hobby Lobby.

Each guest received an apron! I purchased the aprons at Hobby Lobby when they were 30% OFF. Then the amazing Great Stitch embroidered each apron!

Each Place Setting was full of activities for the kids to do! First was painting their canvas. I purchased 2 - 10 packs of canvas’ from Michaels. I purchased large paintbrush packs form Hobby Lobby. Then used Baking Cups from Celebration Lane to have the paint water in. Next was sketching the person in front of them with their Sketchbooks (Sketchbook Cover Comes In The Printable Package) with the colored pencils provided at each table. Tutorial For Sketchbooks HERE. The Placemats are covered in different frames prompting the kids to draw different things in each one, and they come in the Printable Package.

I love these Plastic Milk Bottles available at Hoopla Events. I added colored Ice Cubes made with food coloring and water into sprite! I used different rainbow colored Paper Straws from Celebration Lane and a Mini Palette Cut Out from the Printable Package to create the straws. Use a standard Office Hole Punch to create the perfect size hole and then slide the Palette onto the straw.

These Canvas Cookies made by the talented Sweet Baketique (she ships) were a HUGE hit with the girls! I purchased Mini Easels from Hobby Lobby and painted them white. The Cookies were placed on the Easels to be used as placecards. I had several Food Safe Food Color Markers purchased on Amazon HERE at each table. The girls decorated their own cookies to take home and eat later (since we had a huge dessert table of sweets to be eaten).

I purchased these favor bags at Dollar Tree for the kids to take all of their goodies home in. I used the Thank You Tags from the Printable Party Package. Simply punch a hole and tie with twine to your favor or goodie bag.

The girls LOVED their aprons from Great Stitch!!
