This adorable paint brush garland is one of the easiest DIY’s I have ever made for a party! Not only is it easy, but it is also affordable! Please excuse the poor quality Iphone Photos used in the step by step directions. I didn’t plan to do a tutorial; so I am using images I happened to capture along the way to help show you how to do this easy DIY!
WHAT YOU NEED
-Paint colors of your choice - Acrylic craft paint works best.
-Paint brush to apply the paint - I used disposable foam brushes.
-Paper plates to squirt your paint on for painting.
-Unfinished wood paint brushes with holes on top of the handle - I did different sizes and purchased at Hobby Lobby. Dollar Tree also carries them but they are a dollar each. At Hobby Lobby they come in packs and you can use a coupon making them about $0.50 each.
-Twine or Ribbon of choice for garland.
STEP BY STEP DIRECTIONS
1.) Paint the handles of your paint brushes.
2.) Once dry paint the tips of the bristles. I painted about half way up. Let dry.
3.) Take your ribbon or twine and string the brushes through using the hole on the handle.
4.) You can tie a knot around each paint brush as you string them on so they will stay in place. I did not do this but it is an option.
Your Garland is NOW Complete!
