Hello Lovely Friends!! Originally this blog post was a giveaway for a local flea market. An image of my unfinished Gallery Wall Idea got pinned from the post, and it went viral! TONS of emails later I am listening to what you are wanting! I have turned this blog post into and informative post on my Entryway Gallery Walls! I’m sharing with you how to Create each Gallery Wall Idea, where to Purchase the same items or similar ones, and Prints to help you create a similar look. You will also find Entryway table and storage ideas in the post!
At the bottom of this post you will find the Gallery Wall Printable Downloads & The Shopping List of where you can purchase the items shown or similar ones.

I constantly am asked what method I used to create this Gallery Wall Idea?!?!? MY ANSWER …. Just start hanging! I have tried many methods out there for gallery walls, and the way I did this one has been the easiest. I started purchasing the products I wanted for the wall months before we were finished building our house (keeping all receipts so I could return what didn’t work).
HOW I HANG A GALLERY WALL
-Start with your middle object (I started with the wooden Hello word), then work your way around that object.
-Lay the items out on the ground and rearrange until you like the finished look. Don’t feel like you have to use everything you purchased. If something doesn’t look right then don’t force it. It is also okay to make a few store runs to find more items you feel you are “missing”.
-Measure the distance from the middle object to the bottom of the gallery wall design. Use that measurement to measure from where you want the bottom of your Gallery Wall Idea to sit on the wall and go up to where your middle object needs to be hung.
-Hang your middle object and then slowly work your way out, up, and down with your other objects.

If you want a place for guest to hang their coats, put their shoes, and set their purses; then you can work that into your Entryway Gallery Wall design. The basket is for shoes. The bench is great for sitting to take shoes off and on or for placing purses!

You can use standard table frames and remove the kick stand from the back. Most of my 5×7 frames were designed to be standard table frames and I ripped off the kick stand.

Pillows always add a touch of warmth to a spot. I change these out to coordinate with different seasons and holidays. The bottom of this post has a fabulous Shopping Guide which tells you where you can get these items, similar ones, or other ideas for the same type of product.

We found this house in the frame stage. I fell madly in love with the entryway and saw so much potential. It is still one of my favorite spots in the house, and the Orb Chandelier is definitely my favorite light in the entire house!

The Shopping Guide + Printable Downloads for this side of the Entryway are located at the bottom of the post as well.

It has always been important to me to put words around the house that inspire and motivate my family. The prints in these frames are available at the bottom of the post.

It took me a while to decorate the entryway table. I still change it out from time to time, and always decorate for Holidays. I like mixing in garage sale finds with store bought items.
TIP - Just play with it! Put some things up and change it around for a little while. I landed on this look about a month after starting to set things up on the console table. I still plan to add some succulents to the design.

Gallery Wall Idea Prints
You can recreate the Gallery Wall Idea using the below prints. Mix and match the prints with other items you find using our Shopping Guide located below the print packages! You can use a few or all of the prints. Insert into frames, upload to Shutterfly and print on their various wall decor items, mount to foam board or wood. Be creative when using the downloads! Most of the Prints are large and will need to be printed at your local print shop (office depot, office max, staples are usually the most affordable). FedEx can get expensive. Sometimes a local college print shop offers great prices as well!

Dining Room Gallery Wall Ideas

I have gotten a lot of my wall decor there:-) I love it!
Hello Lillian just wanted to Thank you for sharing your wall gallery. It was my inspiration to do one in our new house. I finished it today!
So awesome I love to hear that!!!
Hi! I was just wondering if you could tell me the dimensions of the arrow. I am going to have someone make me one out of old barn wood and just trying to figure out how big I want it. Thanks! Love your wall!

I like; sweet and charming
Home decor!!
I want to do a clock wall, what do you suggest I start with?
I would say do the same technique but with clocks. Start with your middle clock piece then work your way out. Get clocks of all different sizes. That sounds so cute!! Be sure to send me a picture if you create one! I would love to see it!!
Gorgeous I want to purchase the family rules package - I see the large print can also be printed in 11×14. Are the other 4 able to be printed smaller (8×10) or can they only be printed 11×14? Did you find the open bar wood frame in 24×36 at HL? I don’t see it on their website - maybe they only have in store? Thank you so much. Love your gallery walls. Absolutely gorgeous.
Hello!! Thank you! Yes I only have it in the 11×14. I can go in and add the 8×10. That is a great idea. Since it is a pretty popular size. I could have those added into the set by later this week. Yes I got them from Hobby Lobby in the store! Thanks again for the kind words! Let me know if you have any more questions at all!
I did not see the “Always Work Hard” in the printable package. Is it still included?
Yes Stacy it is in there! Did you download the prints? Let me know! I can send it to you separately if you don’t have it! My email is [email protected]
I have several walls (including curved staircase that I want to do a gallery wall. When is it “too much”? Lol. I can send you pictures of the entry and areas I want to do them to get your opinion.
Yours are so awesome. I had actually started thinking about some of these before I saw your post. But glad to get more ideas. 🙂
Hey Gina!!! I think if you can mix up the style it can work on a few walls. My one very busy wall is the only one in my house that is that busy. The rest are more simple! EXCEPT one in my daughters room! I will be showing my dining room one this week and it is full of more ideas. I say you start by doing one. Then slowly add an you will know if it starts to get too busy. It also depends on what style you like! Some people think this is too busy for them!
I love this wall and I almost have everything I need to make it, but the key! I didn’t find it and was wondering if you had any other ideas on where to look and also how big is it and what is it made of? Thanks Jenni
Need bathroom ideas. My new home is bare in the bathroom. I have separate room where the toilet is and have no idea what to put on my walls. HELP! My colors are very dark chocolate and tan so it makes it hard..
Maybe do some simple white frames so they really pop!
Any chance I could get the name of the paint that’s on the walls?
Oh yes I should of included that! It is Sherwin Williams Light French Gray at 75% instead of 100%. The white trim is Sherwin Williams Alabaster.
I am planning on doing the wall art in my living room and I will be purchasing you wall art printables. One question on the 1st printable - Be Grateful… is that on wood it self or is it printed that way to look like wood behind and you put it in a 14×14 frame?? I’m using some of your ideas with some of my own so I may be back with more questions! 🙂 love your ideas!
Hello Mishelle!! The one on my wall is a sign from Hobby Lobby!! I offer the printable version for you to frame if you can no longer find the one from Hobby Lobby!!
I saw your kitchen gallery wall and am dying to see the whole picture. Do you know when you will be posting the finished post? I’m super excited for it 🙂
Emily hopefully by next week!!!! It has some great printables coming with it too!!!
Hi! I was wondering if you could share where you got the large wooden frames for the text printables above the entry way table?
Thanks
Love your gallery walls.
Love your work! Any way you could shoot me an email about some work I purchased? I bought two at the same time & was only able to download one. Pretty sure it was my iPhone being quirky…it kicked me out of the printing screen before I typed the link into my pc browser. Either way, I paid the package but never received it.
Hello!! Thank you so much Lillie!! I just resent both files to your email!! Let me know if you have any questions at all!
Absolutely gorgeous! We shared this on our social media this morning. It fits in well with Goodwill finds and recycled pallets. We are promoting our PalletPalooza event which is a recycled pallet cash competition. If you are interested you can check out our event site at PalleSWMI.com
I love your gallery wall and the wall color, too! What is the paint color and brand? Thanks!
Thank you Lisa!! It is Sherwin Williams - Light French Gray at 75%
Could you please tell me what you have on your floor? (Name and brand and type of material) bit is just what I’m looking for!
Let me ask my husband and see if he knows!!
Love this decor!! I have finally begun my gallery wall 😉 I started hanging items using command hooks since I’d rather not damage the walls with nails and such. My husband saw your post and wanted to know how you went about hanging the decorations. Appreciate your response! Congrats on a great piece!!
Best,
Vanessa
Hello Vanessa! I used nails!! LOL. You can read throughout the post and it explains my not so calculated way of hanging my gallery walls!
I am going to purchase your printable, but I wanted to know if they can be printed on photo paper and put on canvas
Hello you could definitely print on photo paper. I actually am changing the ones I printed to photo paper!
I have a cross that I bough it’s wood and it has a horseshoe on it. To me it’s like rustic I want to make a wall gallery to it I don’t know how to start or what to buy any suggestions please.
I would take a picture of it on your phone and when you are out shopping find things you think will go well with it. You can really mix and match just about anything. I think the more differences you have the better! Once you have enough items to fill the space you want then follow the steps in this post for how to hang.
Hi hello i have a question does anyone know when i purchase the printable pictures do i have to immediately print them out or can i save them on my computer or on a flash drive and print them out later at office depot?
You can save!!!

This is fantastic. Love the wallcolor AND LOVE the mismatched doors!!! GORGEOUS!! I’m assuming white is the same as the trim, Alabaster? But what color is the blue? And is the ceiling a dark wood stain? So pretty!!
THANKS so much for these great ideas and tips. And also, thanks for posting where you bought items, or offering replacement ideas/printables for those no longer available.
Gave me some great inspiration as I have been working on a wall gallery — in the collecting stage as I wasn’t sure how I wanted to place things, etc.
So glad Jo!! That is awesome and good luck!!!

I’m looking for a bench like the one you have in your entry. Can you tell me where you got it?
I got that one at Homegoods. But I have some links to similar ones at the very bottom of this post!
Hello,
I need help find the key on your entryway wall. I have had no luck. Also, I am having a hard time finding the gray picture frame, both the single and double. I’ve looked at hobby lobby, TJ Maxx and Marshals and no luck. Please help these are the last few pieces for my wall to be complete.
Hello! Try amazon and see if you can find something similar. Search wooden key decoration.
